I have bought Level 5 tools in the past and have been very happy, these were mostly smoothing blades and knifes. I ordered new Mega boxes (10”-12”). These tools are junk. They leak mud like a siv They leave so much junk outside the box that I put them away and hand finished. i wish these companies had 1 employee on staff who knew how to finish drywall.

 

I run the 10/12 level 5 oversize boxes and never had any issues not typical to other brands, I've found them to be very good value, and customer support is top notch.

 

Call them they get it straightened out, or depending on age of tool they may replace it.

 

It's gotta be 5 yrs old, and I'm sure if I call, they'll just want me to send it in.

I have a Columbia, and I think the drive dog might be the same. I'm going to try swapping them out, and I'll report back.
