I'm just a DIY guy. But this is atrocious. Is that what PRO means? Do whatever as fast as possible, disregarding quality completely, and leaving all the problems for the next trade person to deal with? I'd definitely talk to the boss man. As well, keep documenting, I see some uphill battle in your near future.
