Hi I’ve run a drywall/painting company for about 15 years now and we’re looking for ways to speed up repair jobs and drying times. We do a lot of repair work and often follow plumbers as they open walls. We use Fibafuse to tape amd we coat right away with quickset . Then we’re waiting for quickset to dry. We hit it one more time with quickset then come back next day and skim with Redline. Any better ways anyone has? I thought hit kettle water may speed up quickset but not sure if it will affect the coating?

for patches i use 90min. and a catalyst. wet sand before i leave job. it sets up but still has to dry out for paint. 1 trip deals every time. i have seen guys using a hair dryer to cook it off but i never needed to try it.
