if you look for speed use paper through automatic tools(bazooka or banjo) because in 1 shoot you apply the paper and the mud so 1 coat done

I know the flottrunner and it's a BIG MINUS when meshtape gets split in parts or doesnt have enough glue and IT'S A PAIN THE THE A$$

And even if it works you have to come back to apply mud and this is a BIG WIN when you use paper with automatic tools

Meshtape is good for small jobs,1-2 bedrooms apartments ( one day job) with quick setup mud but for big jobs ( > 1000 sm) paper tape with automatic tools is THE BEST

Flottrunner is on our market since March this year. our experience is good so far. It saves us a lot of time.

I thought you could only apply paper on wall or sealing with the automatic tools. That you also have to come back to apply mud?

Just to clear up the misunderstanding:

You have to come back and apply the mud when you use the mesh with the flottrunner not when you use paper with automatic tools

we do have tested the fiba taper and the monster mesh, but the flottrunner works best. maybe we do agree there :thumbup:

In general, paper drywall tape is slightly stronger and more versatile. That's why I always prefer using paper tape when fixing drywall in Baltimore.
