I recently installed a bunch of recessed lights in a family room ceiling. The ceiling is swirled plaster with silica added. There was previously a single light fixture in the center of the room. I removed it and capped the electrical box. However, there is a black line where the old light fixture was and it is dirty on both sides of the lines. I've tried everything to get it off - bleach, Fantastic cleaner, TSP, etc., and nothing works. I am hoping that the members can give me some suggestions.

Thanks to all.

You can try using a stronger chemical that should be able to cope with the dirt. But the best option is to contact a company that deals with house cleaning; they have everything you need to get rid of dirt. Today there are a lot of services that make people's lives easier. Conveniently, you can find everything you need online. When I had a clogged sewer pipe, I turned to thedraincleaningservice.com for help. These guys have long worked in this field and will cope with any clog.
