Any of you "Masters of Mud" doing faux marble finishes? Its a popular thing out here in the LA/OC area. Would love to see your work and maybe "tricks". Have tried it myself and even though I have a BA in the arts :smartass: I cant do it half as well as my customers....:notworthy:
Ok this sander is awesome.
I had my doubts about the sander after rough sanding with 150 grit and about the autoclean vac after it didn't seem to live up to expectations on the popcorn ceiling.
But with the Joest 330 paper this thing is amazing. This is a 9' basement...
All of this talk about banjos and zookas has got me thinking about a Zooka.
I have spotted a Finish Pro Zooka on Ebay that has only been used a couple of times. I guess my question is are they any good. Has anyone had hands on experience with one. Look forward to your comments.
Most of my builders gives my company 8 days (work days not weekend days) to board and tape a house. I usually have 3 to 4 guys on the taping crew and the same on the hanging. It seems pretty unrealistic considering drying times, but thats the way it is here. Our houses are usually 10000 - 14000...
