Im needing a new flat box handle after mine was bent. I have blueline boxes but I've seen a good deal on columbia hydro reach handles. i was wondering if anyone know if these will fit blueline and are they any good or should i just get a blueline extentable handle.
Using my 12" box the other day. It was fine when skimming over paper, but if going over dry mud, the one side of the blade dug in.
Do I just back the blade off on that side?

The Columbia 180 Box Handle is by far my favorite and I recommend it to customers all the time. I like their block brake assembly vs. the Quadrant/Friction Disc and short connector set up that every body else uses because it doesnt damage the boxes like so (gash on the inside)

I just purchased tapetech power assist boxes 10" and 12" and am finding out that i am having a huge problem trying to get more mud out to fill flats i am running on #2 and wiping with a 12" blue steel knife even before wiping flat is not full can i crown it more P.S. running on #1 leaves too...
Learned a new trick today. Skimmed some 8ft walls with a box. basicall went with the 12 up and down then moved over 11''s leaving a gap. Then after about an hour filled in the gaps. Will skim again tomorrow. So far it looks great

I have a set of older tapetech boxes that I am trying to rejuvenate, I replaced the crown spring, blades and skids. When you look down the blade it is already past flat (crowned the wrong way) do I need to replace the blade holder or have I just installed something wrong. Any help would be nice
