Up until now I have been using the kitchen bench at home, or a glass door on site to adjust my angle heads when needed. But the other day I got a off cut of the man made stone that they use for kitchen bench tops. It works a treat and you can carry it in your work kit.

I recently switched from flushers to angle heads and I'm getting tiny fisheyes over the tapes in the angles, can anybody tell me why this might happen? I use fibafuse wiping with a 3" columbia and finishing with a 2.5" north star on a box. It baffles me cause the mud just barely hides the tape...

:thumbup1: This topic has been discussed before so thought we could put it to a vote and see which is the most favoured system. The poll feature only allows for up to 15 choices so couldnt list every size option combination. So basically it is Tin flushers and Mechanical angle heads and their...

I have been taping for 20 years and when I started I only ran angles by hand. Then about 5 years ago I started using a flusher because I was told it worked so well. I tried it for about 3 years and was never really satisfied with the results. The edges never really feathered out properly and...

So the other day I decide to finally replace my old crappy 8" Tape Tech angle box with a brand new Northstar 7". My wife brought the new box to the job for me and I happily installed it onto my old handle. Attached my trusty 3" Northstar Angle Head and crawled up onto 12" of Perry scaffold to...

Hello all Im after a few thoughts on angle heads, all the brands say that theres are the best, Northstar say use straight out of the box have a good clip system and well tested and slightly different sizes, tapetech and drywall master have the little easy roll wheel which makes them glide...

A question for you auto-tools guys. We use the auto-tools, but I have never had the opportunity to use a corner Flusher or an angle head. I'm looking at trying some out. When using them, would it be best to use a flusher first, after the tape has been applied and rolled, and then use an...

For a while I had been using the same 3" Columbia to run my tapes and coat them. I had noticed in some spots that tapes were flashing, and I had to be really careful with sanding. So I went out and got a 3.5" Columbia, hoping to alleviate the problem, but it seems to coat just as thinly as the...

The company that I work for just bought our first angle box, a 8" Goldblatt G2 with 3" head. None of us have ever ran an angle box before. That box seems really hard to use. We are using USG all-purpose compound, and when we mix the mud so that it comes out of the box easier then it is also...
