I'm excited to show you guys the new site. For the past 3 years Drywall Talk has been a simple forum  with categories and threads. Today, we are adding some major new featurse to the site but in reality they just build upon what we've already been doing.

Product Reviews
Members have always reviewed products that they are happy with in the forums, but now we have a Reviews section where members can add products, give detailed reviews, and even add tools to their "tool box". This is something I've wanted to do for a long time and I think members will get a lot of value out of it. I read reviews on almost every product before I buy it but our reviews will be done from a pros perspective making it unique.

Picture post threads have always been popular and Projects let's you show off your work in an easier to use interface and in a more organized fashion.  I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone's work posted here.

We've opened up blogs to all members in a better interface than we had before.  Blogs are a way to have a one way for you to document builds, and write short articles for other members.

Have ou ever come to the site and been overwhelmed by the amount of posts in a day? Now  you have the ability to follow users and like content and create a custom feed so that you can quickly find the information your most interested in.  This is a new concept for many but I'm hoping you will give it a try because it's a fun and useful feature.

User profiles have been totally revamped to be easier to use, and we've added some fun features like tool boxes and followers.

Overall Site Improvements
In additon to the new sections we've made improvements to the homepage, sidebars, search and other functions. Take a look around and tell us what you think.

If you haven't already done so please TAKE A TOUR of the new site.

This is interesting. Ive been working with drywall for about 4 years and am now lead finisher at Prowall construction. My boss was impressed at how well I catch on and run things, so he moved me up. I have been looking for drywall information on the web for a while, to see how others get along; this is quite a find. Very unique I think. Im interested in wether or not this site attracts a customer-potential demographic
