Re: Quick Books

what do you need to know . It takes a while to get use to I think it wasn't designed for some of us with simple minds but after a while it makes sense and is nice and not so complicated.

Re: Quick Books

I have quick books pro 09 and it works well , It will keep track of everything , it will keep track of all money in and out with estimates to invoices , will do payroll and keep you updated with any tax changes , figures out deductions , what I like about it it will keep everything organized so come time at the end of the year everything is right there for you it makes life easy. As far as estimates & invoices you can create a custom one for your business . Has charts to compare how much income (profit ) and loss year to date ect... It is a good program. The only thing I regret is I purchased a new computer the first of the year I only wish I would have stuck to Microsoft XP It was a little more friendly .

Re: Quick Books

I have been useing QB2002 up untill 0ct of this year. Just got QB 2010. And love it. I dont use everything or know how to use it YET. But LOVE IT.. I like that it has a coach to teach you things. To use the program better.

Re: Quick Books

I use the online version. It's all saved on their servers so if my comp were to ever crash, it wouldn't matter. I can also access it anywhere with internet, even my phone.

Re: Quick Books

I like the idea of off site back-up. is the online version available when you purchase the software?

Sure it is for a small fee... I prefer to backup myself my own way , if you are using a laptop on the job you still have access to your information you don't have to go to a site that provides backup. You can remote access your office computer or just have a copy of your backup with you , simple.
