One or Two

Say you have a chance to work two jobs and make $10,000.00 , It may take you perhaps two weeks and the money sounds good but it is at far less than what you would normally charge ... Now you have a chance to work on one job and make $10,000.00 and you get your normal price . What decision would you make ? Quite obvious that we would not hesitate for a second to make that decision .... So the point is why are most lowering there pricing ? You all know what you deserve ( maybe some of you think you deserve more than you're worth ) I think most that are successful get what they deserve so they don't lower their pricing just to appease some greedy GC or homeowner ..... I'm not just talking over a couple of pennies per ft but drastic price cutting. So many are cutting their pricing it is getting out of hand for most to stay in business , I call it cutting your own throats , and if you find yourself in this predicament and dug yourself deep into a hole either climb out and get back on track or just keep digging and bury yourself for good.

Re: One or Two

Well said. I never understood the thinking of "I started my own business so I could make what I am worth rather than make x working for someone else". And then go and price things so you make x?
