Health insurance

Anyone offers their employees healthcare and how much do you pay a month? With this Obama care bull crap, trying to see if it's cheaper to do it by the business than individual. The cheapest we found for personal insurance is 180.00 a month. FYI - if you don't have health care insurance this year you will be fined thanks to Obama.

I do agree with everyone having health insurance only because it's not fair to us tax payers to have to carry the burdon of those who constantly run to the doctor and don't have any way of paying their share. However how Obama is going about it is wrong in every sense. ALLOWING the insurance companys raising their rates, cancelling policies, and lowering coverage is not right. It is a catch 22 who is really paying the burdon it still rests on the backs of those working all the while if you don't have a job or low income Obama still makes sure you get coverage for free or next to nothing. It is unfair to and down right dishonest just shifting the money around like a shell game to get what you want. Why do you think things are going down this path? I am sure it is to benifit someone in congress through money contributions. If the polititions think revamping the health care system the way they want why don't they apply the same coverage to themselves and the same costs. JoePro you mentioned $180.00 per month that is cheap, offer it to your employee's and see if they would burdon that cost and see what your responce is I am sure they will want something for nothing. After all you are paying work comp I am sure , not sure what your rates are but here they are at just under 11 percent so on every $1000.00 paycheck you would have to pay out $110.00 seems a little high when you add it up over a years time. It's getting to the point that everything is gonna price you right out of getting a job.

Re: Health insurance

WC is 15.00 for every 100.00 (15%) 2160.00 a year for healthcare is a little steep

Re: Health insurance

I try not to think of all the costs of insurance because it is too depressing. When you add up all the insurance you have to pay out it's way more than even uncle sam takes away. Car, liabliaty, work comp, homeowners, not to mention any toys you have to have insured, life insurance the list goes on and on. Total up all your insurance and divide it by what you gross out it is really ridiculas when you think about it. You think the big oil companies are rich take a look at the billions spent on insurance.
