Intro

Took up taping last December to help out a couple of relatives running a company that was very busy. It's been a bit frustrating at times, but the challenge has been enjoyable overall.

Working at it the last few months gave me a real appreciation and respect for the work, especially consistent quality finished work. Looking forward to asking you experts some questions on it.

Welcome aboard. Heres some tips. Don't ask about what to charge for awhile. Be careful about your grammar. There's this guy whitey, he's our spellchecker. And don't be fooled into thinkin were pro's. Just a bunch of wackos here. Oh, and try a smiley. They're super fun.

Thanks for the welcome. A+. Your points noted, although I'm not sure what you're meaning about not asking what to charge for a time.

we're damnit! not were

as in, don't go into a thread and ask what the going rate for a finishing a board is. Myself and about 10 others will e-rape you, it's quite annoying.

Also, try the search button, you can find anything with that! Good luck!
Oh and welcome! try and use complete sentences, not fragments!

Thanks for the welcome, Whitey. I've never been threatened with e-rape before. Trying to do it to me might indeed prove to be annoying. ~

I thought I might be able to relax a bit the language I use here, and be a little informal. But I can appreciate the cognitive disruption improper spelling and such can sometimes cause a reader. So as much as possible, proper English it is, then. Keep in mind that much of the English speaking world spells a number of words differently from Americans. I'll try to accommodate that difference as much as I can.
