Hi..my name is sam been doing drywall since i was 17 now i'm 42 and out of the business for good..but it was good money while it lasted the bad thing is that you have no backdrop's if you don't pay your tax's and your back get's wrecked your Fu^%ed...it was nice back in the day when people were getting paid 12 cent's a foot now it's 28 cent's a foot..but the boom has stopped in alberta...sound's like saskatchewan is getting the boom now.......it took a dive when some drywaller's come into canada and charges these outrages prices like 21cent's or 19 cent's dont they know that our economy is worse than the STATES our food,gas and material are 10 times as much in canada then they are in the states.....if your comeing into CANADA to do drywall please charge the going rate in CANADA 28cent's a foot for everything like TAPING DRYWALL and INSULATING

Better to charge more than less. At least that's the way I think. You should be happy that the rates are going up, more money for you as well, right?
