What do you call it?
when you coat the back side of a piece of tape with hot mud and use it to cover a small hole in the drywall....For some reason, and I dont know why.....We call it a do-da.

Re: What do you call it?
I do the same with a hole. Mud tape on both sides then put it over a hole or over a over cut box. Let it dry and its nice and hard. I call it a band aid..

We call it a Blow out patch... Always put mud on tabs and the drywall sides. Stick in the hole and wipe on a angle to stick to wall. Works great.... Last edited by Al Taper; 10-14-2008 at 08:46 PM. |
