What do you call it?


when you coat the back side of a piece of tape with hot mud and use it to cover a small hole in the drywall....For some reason, and I dont know why.....We call it a do-da.

I just use Durabond 90 nice and thick just pack the hole, no tape. let it set shave it flush with wall or ceiling

I do the same with a hole. Mud tape on both sides then put it over a hole or over a over cut box. Let it dry and its nice and hard. I call it a band aid..

yep yep lol or you can cut the drywall on the back side let the paper stay on ,and mud the paper ,and put the drywall in the hole ,for a hand hit or size 14 boot

We call it a Blow out patch...

Always put mud on tabs and the drywall sides. Stick in the hole and wipe on a angle to stick to wall. Works great....
